20th Birthday Party

 

May 11th 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Bill and Jean Lane Education Center at Edgewood County Park and Natural Preserve in Redwood City

20th Anniversary

Everybody is invited to help the Friends of Edgewood celebrate their 20th birthday. Don’t miss out on the free fun, food and festivities. We have a number of nature-oriented activities, that will be repeated throughout the afternoon:

  • Story Reading: Frisky Finds a Home — a new children’s book read by the author, Carol Hankermeyer
  • Premiere of a puppet skit: It Could have been A Golf Course
  • Craft stations, including making an origami Bay checkerspot butterfly
  • Identifying plants by leaf keying
  • Treasure hunt
  • Build a tree
  • Responsible family geocaching sponsored by REI. Registration is strongly suggested.
