Changing Colors / Changing Seasons

Changing Colors / Changing SeasonsA large photo album features approximately 10 two-sided sheets with full-color images of Edgewood. The album is arranged according to represented plant community—serpentine grasslands, serpentine and greenstone chaparral, oak woodlands, and wetlands—followed by images of the community’s charismatic species (e.g., dusky-footed wood rat in the oak woodland section). A caption appears on each album page. Beneath the album, a series of tactile botanical imprints, such as oak leaf, poppy blossom, poison oak leaf cluster, invite exploration.
