Edgewood Geographic Information System, or EGIS, is a mapping project that began in late 2002. Its objective is to produce a resource mapping system to enhance the ability of Edgewood’s managers and stakeholders to manage Edgewood’s resources effectively.

The EGIS project uses ESRI's ArcGIS software and Trimble's GeoExplorer hardware to map and analyze natural features and artifacts at Edgewood.

EGIS is an all-volunteer project. To learn more about it, or to get involved, email info at this domain.
