| | WILDFLOWER WALKS 2001
The carpets of wildflowers
covering the serpentine grassland at Edgewood Natural Preserve are renowned
throughout California and beyond. Over
50 different species of blooming wildflowers can be seen on a single walk.
Many of these flowers occur elsewhere in the Bay Area, but are not seen
in such brilliant displays. You may
also see some rare or unique plants and possibly a Bay Checkerspot Butterfly!

All
walks begin at 10:00 am, end at 1:00 pm, and start at one of the two parking
areas, as noted on the list. We
will not stop for lunch, so bring a snack and water and a hat.
No reservations are needed. Restrooms
are available only at the Old Stage Coach Day Camp entrance.
