In the late 1990's, revegetation efforts focused on planting plugs of purple needlegrass (Nassella pulchra) in areas damaged by off-trail usage.  Starting in the new millenium, revegetation activities will be coordinated with weeding activities to ensure that recovered habitats are not re-invaded by exotics.  If you wish to help, send a message to info at this domain.
