Hours of Operation

Edgewood Park and Natural Preserve opens at 8:00 a.m. every day throughout the year (holidays included). The closing time varies by time of year. Please consult the San Mateo County Parks website for more information.

The Bill and Jean Lane Education Center is open Wednesdays 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and  Saturdays and Sundays, 9:30 am – 4 pm.

Bill and Jean Lane Education Center

Plan to stop by the Education Center at the main entrance to Edgewood Park off of Edgewood Road.

Nature Walk

Join a trained docent for a nature walk.

Field Trip

Arrange for a school field trip. Our Junior Explorer Docents are specially trained to lead kids on educational walks that are integrated to school curriculum.

Picnic Reservations

Three family drop-in picnic areas are available in the Day Camp area. These are available on a first-come basis only (no reservations accepted).
One larger picnic area is reservable for groups of 25 or more.  Call the Park office to reserve:  (650) 368-6283
